Through a stitched together art treatment, the concept of unity and commonality is visually expressed in dynamic compositions. The goal is to inspire the target audience, which consists of parents seeking education on American ideals and values, to visit Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture.
The museum exhibits and celebrates the idea that African American history is American history. With principles such as resiliency, determination, and optimism being embedded at the core of African American history and culture, in its essence, it’s as American as can be.
The museum is the only museum exclusively devoted to showcasing and acknowledging the impact African American culture has had on a national and global scale.
