[ a lil about me ]

Here's a quick story about me. Flashback to 2017 and I’ve just gotten off the track after roller derby practice and immediately sat down to study for my IB Exam. I was drenched in sweat, still had my mouth guard in and my helmet on, when I opened my notebook to look over my Chemistry notes about collision theory and rates of reaction. 

It's an odd story, but it truly encapsulates what I've always seen myself as: a duality. I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, but I’m a New Yorker at heart. I’m an ex roller derby player, but also an IB Diploma holder. I'm a designer, but also a retired barista who can make a mean espresso shot. This harmonic blending of oppositions has been instilled within me for all long as I can remember and as a result, informs my visual solutions.

Using my personal experience allows me to not only produce conscientious designs with great aesthetics that engages and forms impactful consumer-brand connections but also imbues my work with a multi-faceted, perceptive treatment that inclusively reflects the perspective of myself and others.
